Marvin Minoff


In 15 years with such major agencies as William Morris and IFA (now ICM), MARVIN MINOFF (Producer), who rose to become the vice president of the motion picture department, handled such respected talents as Sidney Lumet, Cicely Tyson, David Rintels and Bruce Joel Rubin and packaged such blockbusters as The French Connection and Love Story.

After leaving the agency business in 1974, Minoff became president of David Frost’s David Paradine Television, where he co-produced with Frost the historic Nixon Interviews as well as subsequent interviews with Henry Kissinger and the Shah of Iran.

At David Paradine he was also responsible for James Michener’s Dynasty, The Ordeal of Patty Hearst and Diary of a Rebel: Margaret Sanger, plus television specials for all the networks, including The International Guinness Book of World Records, which was shot all over the world.

With his partner at Farrell/Minoff Productions, he has produced the feature film, Dominick and Eugene, starring Tom Hulce, Ray Liotta and Jamie Lee Curtis, and television films such as Run Till You Fall, Incident At Dark River, with Helen Hunt, Silent Motive, with Patricia Wettig and Edward Asner and Sins of the Mind, with Jill Clayburgh and Missy Crider.

He is currently developing several features, one to star Anne Heche.
