Beginning her career as a set decorator, LINDA DeSCENNA (Production Designer) was one of the first three women to join the set decorators union as a set dresser. She received her first Academy Award® nomination in 1980 for Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Four nominations for set decoration were to follow for Blade Runner, The Color Purple, Rainman and Toys. She became a production designer on Barry Levinsons Jimmy Hollywood and went on to design other productions including A Family Thing, Father of the Bride: Part Two, Mouse Hunt and an earlier collaboration with director Tom Shadyac on Liar Liar. |
