Prior to her designing Patch Adams, JUDY RUSKIN-HOWELL (Costume Designer) did the costume design for Robert Redfords critically acclaimed The Horse Whisperer. She also recently designed for Liar Liar starring Jim Carrey and for Albert Brooks Mother. She designed for Alfonso Araus A Walk In The Clouds, and Forget Paris, directed by Billy Crystal, with whom she also worked on City Slickers and City Slickers II: The Legend of Curlys Gold. Ruskin did the costume design for Forest Whitakers Waiting To Exhale, Nora Ephrons box office success Sleepless In Seattle, and made her design debut on Oliver Stones Academy AwardÒ nominated Born on the Fourth of July. Ruskins other credits include My Life, Jennifer Eight, Man Trouble and Young Guns II. For television she designed for Kojak and the pilot for Equal Justice. Born in Philadelphia, Ruskin attended the Tyler School of Fine Arts in Philadelphia and in Rome, Italy. |
